A 28-year-old man has been arrested after he allegedly murdered his live-in partner. He allegedly strangled her to death and chopped her body up into 35 pieces and disposed of them in a forest near Delhi. The man had been living in the house with his partner for the past six months. The man was arrested on Saturday morning, and details about the murder came to light during his interrogation. He was sent to five days Police custody for the crime.

The investigation has revealed that the accused allegedly killed the live-in partner in an argument that got out of hand. The police have identified the suspect as Aftab Poonawalla, who allegedly murdered his partner in cold blood and chopped her body into 35 pieces. The police have also found his social media accounts, and he has been sent to judicial custody for five days.

According to police, the accused and his partner met on a dating app and were living together for three years. They then eloped to Delhi, but Shraddha’s family did not approve of their relationship.

After killing his live-in partner, Aftab Ameen Poonawalla allegedly chopped up Shraddha Walkar’s body into 35 pieces and disposed of the parts for 18 days. He even bought a refrigerator to store the body pieces, and threw them at different places in the city. His partner’s father filed a missing person complaint and police were able to trace him.

During the investigation, Delhi police discovered that Aaftab Amin Poonawala confessed to killing Shraddha Walkar and dismembered the parts of her body. He told police he was inspired by the American crime series “Dexter”. For six months, he evaded police action, living in her house. Only after a prolonged interrogation, did he confess to murdering Walkar.

Shraddha Walker’s parents didn’t approve of the relationship between the two and so the couple moved in together in a south Delhi suburb. Shraddha’s parents had disapproved of the relationship, and her family had complained to the police about the relationship. The police were able to track down Aftab and he was arrested on November 12.

The investigation has revealed that Poonawala had impersonated Walkar on WhatsApp for weeks and months before the killing. He had been chatting with his friends until June 9, when the victim’s friends alerted the police. Walkar’s father was concerned after his daughter stopped contacting him. He tried to visit her in Delhi, but her apartment was locked.
