The Double XL Movie is a well-produced and polished product. The cinematography is a credit to Milind Jog and the editing is the work of Abhishek Kumar. The production design is the work of Sheena Saini. The film doesn’t quite reach the heights of perfection, but it’s a good example of how convenient filmmaking can be.
The film features Sonakshi Sinha, Huma Qureshi, Zaheer Iqbal, and Mahat Raghavendra in lead roles. Bhushan Kumar, and Vipul D Shah, as well as Mudassar Aziz, bankroll the film. The film is due to be released on October 14th.
Double XL is a coming of age story about two plus-size women. Rajshri, played by Sonakshi, dreams of being a sports presenter. Saira, on the other hand, dreams of being a fashion designer. Their meeting by accident ends up helping them realize their dreams.
Double XL is a refreshing concept that tackles a timely subject. It also takes guts to tackle such a controversial topic. Unfortunately, the execution and writing are mediocre. Still, the film is worth a watch, and it might appeal to the gentry as well.
