Tamil star Vishal has embarked on a spiritual journey to Varanasi with his family. The actor has already made the news by posting a video of himself drinking tea in the sacred city of Kashi. The family and Vishal made their way to the temple where they had darshan. They were escorted by policemen as they walked on the sacred city’s streets. Vishal’s friend Nanda, who is also a producer of his upcoming films, also accompanied Vishal and his family.
The actor and his family have also made a pilgrimage to Rameshwaram, which is one of the four Jyotirlinga in India. The temple is located in the Tamil Nadu province and is the site where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva rid himself of sins. The temple has a number of wells that are used for bathing, and there is a mandatory ritual of bathing before entering.
